Bar Tape Wrapping Method #1
When wrapping bar tape, I always start by leveling and aligning the brifters to make sure they’re symmetrical. Once that’s set, I clean the handlebar with isopropyl alcohol to remove any grease or residue. Then I measure and mark where I want the wrap to end so both sides match evenly. For this method, I begin wrapping from the bar end, tucking the tape slightly inside for a clean finish. As I wrap, I keep the tension consistent and overlap each turn just enough to keep everything tight, smooth, and secure.
